He said that welfare was the responsibility of the officer in the department.

The DIG was inspecting the District Training Centre, the District Police Office, the AR head quarter and the District Crime Record Bureau as part of his three-day visit to Adilabad district.

He was given a guard of honour at the AR head quarters, where sniffer dog Mouni from the dog squad too performed.

Adilabad Superintendent of Police S. Tripathi, Additional SPs P. Panasa Reddy and N.V. Kishan Rao, besides DSP K.M. Maheshwara Raju attended.
