Both Dharmana brothers – Prasada Rao and Krishnadas – launched campaign separately for their respective Congress and YSR Congress parties in Narasannapeta constituency. The byelection was necessitated following the disqualification of Krishnadas for switching over to YSR Congress Party.

Congress workers meet

Mr. Prasada Rao along with Ministers Kondru Murali and Parathasarathi addressed the Congress party workers and asked them to rededicate themselves for the victory of the Congress.

The party senior leaders indicated that Mr. Prasada Rao's younger brother would contest on the Congress ticket.

They denied the reports that Mr. Prasada Rao's wife Gaja Lakshmi was likely to be fielded in Narasnnapeta by-elections.

Meanwhile, Krishnadas exuded confidence that YSR Congress Party's victory in Narasannapeta would be a cakewalk as people were fed up with Congress and Telugu Desam parties.

He participated in the International Women's Day celebrations in the party office and hoped that women voters would strongly extend their support to the YSR Congress Party.
