TIRUMALA: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam's Ananda Nilayam Anantha Swarnamayam (ANAS) project to receive Rs.10 crore. The TTD Chairman D.K. Adikesavulu on Thursday said that an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara has come forward to donate Rs.10 crore for the ANAS project aimed at gold panelling the inner sanctum sanctorum of the Tirumala temple of Lord Venkateswara.

Talking to media persons, Mr. Adikesavulu said that the devotee, who wished to remain anonymous would Rs.2 crore as promised in the first week of the next month, followed by similar amount of donations in the months to follow.

In reply to a question, he said that the project had received an overwhelming response from the devotees spread all across the globe. The TTD management had so far received 130 km of gold in the form of donation.

The TTD is making the required arrangements for the conduct of ‘Kalyanotsavam' of the lord at New Jersey in the United States of America (USA). While the TTD Board has, in principle, has agreed to send its Executive Officer I.Y.R. Krishna Rao on its behalf the board members on the other hand are at liberty to attend the programme at their own expenses.
