Office Superintendent (Deputy Tahsildar) in the Pamidimukkala mandal Tahsildar's office in Krishna district, K. Venkateswara Rao, was caught red-handed by the officials of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), when he was accepting a bribe of Rs. 2,000 from a complainant on Thursday.
The official allegedly demanded the bribe for processing and addressing a letter to the Sub-Treasury Officer for repayment of challan amount paid by the complainant towards stamp duty for registration of land, according to a press release issued by ACB.

The official was arrested and produced in the ACB Court at Vijayawada.
