National Center for Disease Control Joint Director S.K. Jain and other doctors who came from New Delhi to study kidney diseases in the district on Monday visited dialysis unit in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences.
The team interacted with the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences Director D.V.S.S. Ramamurthy and collected details about the diseases in Uddanam region.
The team told the media that the water of the region, blood and urine collected from the patients would be tested very soon.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) team will also visit Srikakulam very soon to conduct intensive study over kidney diseases.
