HYDERABAD: Union Rural Development Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, a member of the UPA Sub-Committee on Telangana, has refused to say when the committee will submit a report.
He cited the model code of conduct in force for the panchayat elections as the reason for refusing to field questions on the issue.
"I will tell you after the elections are completed," he said, and complained that whenever he spoke about his Ministry and then referred to the Telangana issue, media in Andhra Pradesh highlighted only comments on Telangana.
"Not even a single word about my Ministry appears in the print or the electronic media," he said.
This time he wanted the department to be highlighted.
