HYDERABAD: Communist Party of India (Marxists) MP P. Madhu on Wednesday took strong exception to the ‘tactics’ adopted by the Majlis-e-Itthadul Muslimeen (MIM).

Addressing a public meeting under the padayatra programme at Madannapet in the old city, Mr. Madhu reiterated that the CPI(M) would not tolerate the undemocratic activities of the MIM such as physical attacks or implicating people in false cases.

He alleged that the MIM was against the development of the old city since the party was obstructing individuals or parties that came forward to attend the grievances of the locals.

He further alleged that the MIM henchmen were involved in encroaching upon Wakf and Government land in the old city.
