Activists of the Communist Party of India will disrupt public functions of six ‘tainted' Ministers till they resigned on their own or are dropped from the Cabinet by Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, CPI State secretary K. Narayana said on Saturday.

He told a press conference here: Even if we are arrested, we will stall the public meetings and other functions where these Ministers participate. He said his party would also step up agitation against former Minister J.C. Diwakar Reddy in Anantapur and press for cancellation of limestone mining lease given to Trishul Cements in Anantapur district.

“The six Ministers cannot continue in office pending disposal of the case by the Supreme Court,” he said.
