VISAKHAPATNAM: Counselling for admission into part-time Ph.D. programmes in engineering, pharmacy and law will be held from May 29 to 31 in view of the large number of applications received, according to Director of AU Directorate of Admissions O. Aniel Kumar.

Counselling would be held a the DoA office at Vijayanagar Palace, Peda Waltair, according to the following schedule: On May 29: pharmaceutical technology, chemistry and analysis and quality assurance from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and pharmaceutical bio-technology, pharmacology, pharmacognocy and phytochemistry from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

On May 30: Chemical engineering, civil engineering and geo engineering from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and electronics and communication engineering, instrument technology, marine engineering and metallurgy from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. On May 31: computer science and systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, law and human rights and duties from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Counselling schedule for part-time research programmes in arts and science along with entrance tests, presentation of SRIs and interviews for full-time research programmes in arts, science, engineering, pharmacy and law would be announced later, Prof. Kumar added.
