SANGAREDDY: Elections to the local authority constituency (LAC) of Medak to the Council would be held on Monday.

Election would be held from 8 am to 4 pm and a total of 46 polling stations are established in the mandal parishat development officers office premises. A total of 844 voters – that are MPTC members, ZPTC members, councellors and MLAs would be using their voting right.

This is the direct fight between the sitting MLC and Congress candidate V. Bhoopal Reddy and TRS district president and Grand Alliance partner M. Raghunandana Rao. The outcome would have an impact, if not directly – at least indirectly, on the general elections.

Counting would be taken up on April 2 and result would be declared on the same day.
