The Telugu Desam has said that Congress and YSR Congress will meet the same fate as Yeddyurappa led Karnataka Janata Party (KJP) and Gali Janardhan Reddy’s BSR Congress in next year’s general elections.
The split in the vote bank of BJP, corruption and mining scams linked to Gali Janardhan Reddy and corruption in administration impacted the election results in Karnataka, the TDP politburo member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said in a press release.
He said the results would be on similar lines in Andhra Pradesh also because of split in vote of the Congress and scams during YSR regime.
The involvement of YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy in the irregularities of Janardhan Reddy and the anti-incumbency factor would play a major role in deciding the poll results.
The YSR Congress was the same as KJP because both of them broke away from the ruling parties and were steeped in corruption. YSR Congress was also identified with the corruption of BSR.
