Successful implementation of many welfare schemes, waiver of loans, free supply of power to farmers helped the Congress supported candidates win seven out of the nine Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies in the Bheemunipatnam Assembly segment, MLA M. Srinivasa Rao said at a press conference on Friday.

A lot of development activities were taken up during the last four years and this had resulted in the party supporters winning the PACS of Majjivalasa and Tagarapuvalasa in Bheemunipatnam mandal, Reddipalli, Pandrangi, Padmanabham and Bhandevpuram in Padmanabham mandal and Anandapuram in Anandapuram mandal, he said.

On Friday, Akkaramani Ramu Naidu (Tagarapuvalasa), Chelluri Pydappadu (Majjivalasa), Sunkara Giribabu (Reddipalli), R.Ch. L. Sanyasi Raju (Pandrangi), Mokara Appala Naidu (Padmanabham) and Pandrangi Appa Rao (Anandapuram) were elected as presidents by the directors of their respective PACS.

Port Trust Member Datla Pedababu, mandal president Boni Bangaru Naidu, town Congress committee president Karunakara Reddy and others were present.
