Rajahmundry: Telugu Desam Party spokesperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari, party general secretary Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary on Thursday said that Congress is slowly making ground for early elections in the State.

Addressing a press conference he said that, during the Collector’s conference Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy has clearly sent signals that every Collector has to accelerate development plans and prepare ground for elections.

However, Rajakumari alleged that most of the development works are being diverted to Pulivendula, Kadapa and Idupulapaya areas. She said that Bramhani steels and Raghuram cements are getting all facilities instead of other major industries in the State.

Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary said that Chandrababu’s ‘Mee Kosam yatra’ is getting overwhelming response from the public and it shows that the Congress government is failing on all fronts.
