Congress Party leaders are keen to make Chief Minister N. Kirankumar Reddy’s tour on April 16 in Tekkali a grand success and to prove that the party’s strength remained intact in nook and corner of the district. A massive public meeting will be held in Tekkali Government Degree College to highlight the latest schemes such as Amma Hastam under which essential goods will be supplied at subsidised prices.

Union Minister of State for Communication and Technology Killi Kruparani, Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao, DCC President Narthu Narendra Yadav and other senior leaders held a review meeting over the arrangements. Mr. Narendra Yadav said a preliminary meeting of Congress leaders will be held on Sunday in Tekkali to review preparation for the public meeting. Ms. Kruparani said that laying of foundation stone for the construction of girls polytechnic college and National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology will certainly enable youngsters of the district to get jobs in future with the availability of technical education in Srikakulam itself. Meanwhile, Collector Saurabh Gaur said that beneficiaries will be given essential goods under Amma hastam during Chief Minister’s tour.
