The Congress party district unit leaders celebrated the victory of the party in the Karnataka Assembly elections by bursting crackers and distributing sweets in Karimnagar town on Wednesday.
The party leaders under the leadership of Indian Youth Congress Karimnagar Parliament constituency president Juvvadi Nikhil Chakravarthy celebrated the event with much pomp and gaiety.
On this occasion, Mr. Chakravarthy said that people of Karnataka State have reposed faith on the leadership of Rahul Gandhi.
He predicted that the Karnataka election results would be repeated throughout the country in 2014 general elections and Rahul Gandhi would be made Prime Minister of the country.
Celebrations in Adilabad too
Congress activists led by Adilabad District Congress Committee (ADCC) president C. Ramchander Reddy celebrated the party’s win in Karnataka.
They burst crackers in the busy Ambedkar Chowk area and raised slogans in favour of the party.
‘Congress still popular’
