All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Sonia Gandhi has expressed shock over the recent murder of Congress activist K. Samrat of Gokinepalli village in Mudigonda mandal. In a condolence message sent to the wife of the deceased, the Congress president termed Samrat as a loyal party cadre. “He served the people with tireless dedication and unfortunately fell prey to mindless killing,” he said adding that the Congress party lost a sincere and dedicated worker in his death. “I know what it is to lose husband. I share your pain at his loss,” she said and condoled the death of Samrat.
