The District Congress Party rank and file is upbeat over the party high command nominating former DCC president T. Santosh Kumar as the MLC candidate from the legislators’ quota.

Santosh Kumar, a non-controversial and dedicated Congress party worker since decades, has been suitably rewarded by the party high command, say the party leaders in Karimnagar district.

Mr. Santosh Kumar was instrumental in the strengthening of the party during his regime as the DCC president and in constructing the party office in Karimnagar town.

District Cooperative central bank chairman and DCC coordinator K. Ravinder Rao hailed the party’s decision to nominate Santosh Kumar as the MLC candidate.

He said that the party had recognised the dedicated party worker by rewarding him suitably.
