District Collector Shashi Bhushan Kumar on Saturday called upon the people to patronise handloom fabrics and handloom products. He inaugurated the Lepakshi crafts festival that would display and sell handloom products at TTD kalyana mantapam till September 9. Handloom fabrics and handicrafts priced between Rs. 50 and Rs. 5,000 would be sold in the crafts festival.

Pearls of Hyderabad, toys from Bapatla, incense sticks and scents from Tirupati, silk sarees and dress materials from Madurai and Madhavaram, towels from Guntur, silverware from Machilipatnam, kalamkari from Srikalahasti were among the products on display.
