HYDERABAD: National Memory Council of India (MMCI), an independent body that works on development of memory techniques, will conduct the first ‘National Memory Championship’ in the city on October 11.
“This is first-of-its-kind event to be conducted in India,” founder-chairman of NMCI, Squadron Leader Jayasimha announced here on Thursday. He said the preliminary rounds of the contest would involve 10 types of memory tests including memorising random numbers, binary numbers, date and day conversion, playing cards sequence, historic dates, and names of faces. The prelims will be conducted in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Kochi.
