A Division Bench of the High Court comprising acting Chief Justice N.V. Ramana and Justice Vilas Afzulpurkar on Tuesday adjourned cases pertaining to the drinking water lakes of the city Himayatsagar, Osmansagar and implementation of GO 111 to June. On Monday, the Bench felt that a panel be formed to supervise this issue and proposed names too. On Tuesday, the case came up for finalising the terms of reference. There was no meeting point between the petitioners and the respondent builders on this issue. The Bench took note of the fact that the government has not filed any material regarding the steps taken and decisions which are implemented for protection of the lakes.
