Hindu Parirakshana Samiti members took out a protest rally and staged demonstration in front of Mydukur Urban police station on Thursday demanding an apology from Mydukur Urban Circle Inspector A. Ramachandra alleging that he behaved rudely with them.

When some members of the Samiti, including women, assembled on Sri Ankamalamma temple premises in Porumamilla road in Mydukur town, the Circle Inspector told them rudely to leave the temple, the protesters alleged. They raised slogans at Mydukur four roads junction and demonstrated at the police station. Mydukur DSP Praveen Kumar came to the spot and pacified the protesters. On the DSP’s directive, the Circle Inspector tendered an apology to the protesters.
