VISAKHAPATNAM: President of Praja Rajyam Chiranjeevi may not visit the Visakha Agency area during the ongoing Praja Ankita Yatra.

He is scheduled to visit Paderu and Araku by a helicopter on Oct.17 before concluding his road show in the district.

Now Mr. Chiranjeevi is planning to spend the last day of his tour in Visakhapatnam city and visit the Visakha Agency later, as he could do so by a helicopter at any time, said former MLA and party leader P.G.V.R. Naidu when contacted by The Hindu.

The mega star commenced his Yatra in Visakhapatnam district at Tagarapuvalasa on Tuesday.

According to the original schedule of the road show only Pendurthy and the area between Ukkunagaram and Natayyapalem that come under the GVMC area were included in the tour.

Relief to victim’s family

The Praja Rajyam party handed over a cheque for Rs.1 lakh to the family of Tirupati Rao of Simhachalam on Tuesday. Tirupati Rao, a fan of Chiranjeevi, died when he was involved in an accident during the Praja Ankita Yatra earlier in the day.
