It will adopt 200 girls in the age group of 4 to 6 years
GUNTUR: Swami Tejomayananda will formally open an all-girls’ orphanage at Kaza village in Guntur district on Sunday.
The orphanage promoted by Sumati Mukkamala and Apparao Mukkamala of United States, who are directors of NRI Academy of Medical Sciences also, would be managed by Chinmaya Organisation for Rural Development.
The orphanage to be named Chinmaya Vijaya would adopt 200 girls in the age group of 4 to 6 years and bring them up till they complete their education and get married or get employed.
The orphanage comprising five hostels would house them.
The inmates of the orphanage would be admitted to Chinmaya School in Guntur and a free transport would be provided to them.
Volunteers from Vijayawada and Guntur Chinmaya Mission would participate in the day-to-day activities at the orphanage in the village.
