Dr. Reddy to lay foundation stone for Seetharam Sagar
NELLORE: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy will visit the district both on Tuesday and Wednesday to participate in several developmental programmes.
According to Information and Public Relations Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy, the Chief Minister will lay foundation stone for Seetharam Sagar project at Udayagiri at 3.05 p.m. on Tuesday and later participate in Praja Patham programme. He will also participate in Arogyasri programme and inaugurate the medical camp.
Subsequently, he would participate in different programmes at Nellore. The Chief Minister will inaugurate the Rajiv Gruhakalpa complex and later lay a foundation stone to Nellore barrage-cum-bridge across Penna river.
He will then inaugurate the District Education Office and Rajiv Vidya Mission building besides unveiling the statue of Anam Venkata Redddy.
Mr. Rajasekhara Reddy will leave for Chittoor on April 30 after completing his tour programme at Nellore.
Meanwhile, Information and Public Relations Minister, District Collector K. Ramgopal, Superintendent of Police B. Malla Reddy and others reviewed security arrangements for the two-day tour.
KURNOOL: Dr. Reddy will visit Adoni in Kurnool district on Tuesday to take part in Praja Patham programmes. After arrival at 11 am, Dr. Reddy will visit Jain temple and attend gram sabha at Pedda Tumbalam village. He will also interact with SHG groups and child workers on literacy programme.
Later, he will inaugurate the Municipal Office building and Rajiv Griha Kalpa scheme. After that he will address a public meeting at Arts and Science College ground before leaving at 2.05 p.m.
