VISAKHAPATNAM: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has extended the Chennai-Visakhapatnam-Chennai weekly superfast express up to Bhubaneswar.
The 2660 Bhubaneswar-Chennai express will leave Bhubaneswar at 11.30 a.m. every Friday from January 13.
The train will touch Khurda Road at noon, Berhampur 2.10 p.m., Palasa 3.30 p.m., Srikakulam 4.32 p.m., Vizianagaram 5.40 p.m. and Visakhapatnam at 6.40 p.m.
The timings and stoppages for the train between Visakhapatnam and Chennai will remain unchanged.
It will have one AC-2 and AC-3 tier, 10 sleeper class, two general class and two guard-cum-luggage van coaches.
The train will be renumbered as 2830 instead of 2660 Bhubaneswar-Chennai weekly superfast express from March 17 whereas in the return direction, it will be renumbered as 2829 Chennai-Bhubaneswar superfast express instead of 2659 with effect from March 23.
