Any article, including mobile phone, that can be used as a missile, should not be carried by viewers inside the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium at Uppal while the test cricket match is played, said the Cyberabad police on Thursday.

Announcing restrictions on traffic flow and movement of viewers at the stadium, the Cyberabad Police Commissioner, S. Prabhakar Reddy, said people would not be allowed to carry any handbags, food items, cameras, audio or video equipments, water bottles, match-boxes and lighters inside the stadium.

Restrictions on traffic from 8.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. from Friday to Tuesday: Lorries and heavy vehicles would not be allowed to come to Uppal side from Habsiguda, Peerzadiguda, Nagole and Amberpet.

They would be diverted at Kushaiguda towards Keesara via Rampally, Yemnampet to reach Ghatkesar, at Ghatkesar towards Keesara via Bogaram to reach Kushaiguda, at Ghatkesar towards Abdullapurmet via Jodimetla and Korremula and at L.B. Nagar towards National Highway-9 and Chandrayanagutta.
