The wife of a captain was reported missing from a ship. Ritu Yadav (54) was travelling along with her husband Capt Devendra Singh Yadav from Australia to India.

Captains are allowed to take their wives on board. The ship left Australia on January 9 on its way to Singapore. During the voyage, Ritu was found missing from the ship and searches on board and at sea proved futile.
