P. Krishna Rao, Asset Manager and Executive Director of ONGC Asset, Rajahmundry, said that it was rare to conduct screening camps on diseases like cancer.

Speaking on the inauguration of cancer screening camp here by Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital (BIACH) and Research Institute, Hyderabad, at the ONGC Complex here on Sunday, Mr. Rao said that the ONGC had recently donated Rs.79.70 lakh towards improving health infrastructure in East Godavari district.

The General Manager of Human Resource Department, Mr. Mandapaka has said that nearly 350 BPL families have undergone tests in the screening camp. The programme was also attended by P.C. Agarwal, General Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, New Delhi, Rajesh Kalekuri, Manager (HR), Parthasarathi, Coordinator, Basavatarakam Indo-American Hospital, Hyderabad and other officials.
