The Hindu and Premier Hospital create awareness about ill-effects of drunken driving

HYDERABAD: ‘The Hindu’, in association with Premier Hospital, Mehdipatnam, held a campaign on Wednesday to spread a message against drunken driving.

Literature explaining life-saving tips, and do’s and don’ts in case of grievous injuries, was distributed among 25,000 people at various households and traffic junctions in the city.

Mahesh Marda, MD of the Premier Hospital and Siddarth Marda, Emergency Physician, explained the ill-effects of drunken driving and gave tips on how to prevent accidents.

CEO of the hospital Dr. K. Kamalakar and S.D.T. Rao, Deputy Regional Manager of The Hindu, participated in the event.
