According to the Supreme Court judgement in Visakha case, every organisation and educational institution should constitute grievance redressal committee to deal with sexual assaults , said Professor of Law, Andhra University A. Nirmala. Addressing the students in a panel discussion organised by the Centre for Policy Studies, Kasturba Centre for Women’s Studies and Gayatri Vidya Parishad Educational Institutions on violence against women – civil society’s response, she underlined the role of civil society’s response against violence.
