Tadipatri MLA J.C. Diwakar Reddy on Wednesday said that Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy was incapacitated in the matter of a separate State, appealing to the people of Telangana to call off the strike in the interest of the general public.

Speaking to reporters in Tadipatri, he appealed to the Centre to take an early decision on the issue as a decision going in either way is better than status quo for the State as it would allow to focus on development, which was being hampered constantly due to the unending strikes and dharna's under way in the State currently. Meanwhile, he sought to refute allegations that he owned a fertilizer producing company, Renuka Fertilizers and said that he was asking the State government to proceed against the company if it was in the wrong.
