There was jubilation among the guests who participated in the cake mixing ceremony at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach on Thursday.
The pool deck with the green lawn and the blue waters of the Bay in the background provided the perfect ambience for the annual ritual which is celebrated about a month ahead of Christmas.
It was a momentous occasion for the management and staff as the ceremony was held ahead of the hotel's inauguration on November 20.
The chef and executives participated in the ritual by marinating the dry fruits to be used in the cake by soaking them in liquor, brandy, rum and other flavouring agents. Varun Group Founder and Managing Director V. Prabhu Kishore participated in the celebrations.
