Cable TV providers taking consumers for a ride

The process of TV digitisation has caused several problems to many households.

I am a subscriber of a local cable operator, M/s S.K. Communications, Prabhat Nagar, which has been using feed from MSO M/s Hathway for the last one year.

To avoid disconnection, I bought Set-top Boxes from M/s Hathway.

The cable operator, however, switched to feed from M/s Sitivision on March 30.

They have now asked me to purchase an STB from M/s Sitivision to avail of the service.

The service providers are forming cartels and cheating the innocent public.

Process request

A former employee of the South Central Railway, I retired from the Vijayawada division on June 30, 2001.

As I am settled in Hyderabad, I had applied for vide PPO No. 5904118895 on 15-12-2010 through the Pension Adalath after receiving the application form from Vijayawada division.

After repeated letters,

I received a reply in December 2012 stating that my application was not traceable.

I was asked to submit another one, which I did, with relevant documents on December 26, 2012.

This was done through the 27th Pension Adalath.

There has been no response from them ever since.

Launch new train from Ugadi

The recent Rail Budget had announced a new train on the Kurnool Town-Secunderabad- Kurnool route. Passengers would immensely benefit if the railway authorities were to launch the service from the Telugu New Year.
