Chennai School of Business Excellence offers AICTE-approved PGDM course

Chennai School of Business Excellence (CSBE) opened its new campus in Sri City Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Satyavedu constituency of Chittoor district on Wednesday.

VIT University Chancellor G. Viswanathan inaugurated the campus, while Ashok Leyland Limited Vice-Chairman R.Seshasayee participated.

Three-acre campus

Spread over a three-acre campus, the college offers a two-year AICTE-approved PGDM course with dual specialisation in a vertical (functional) and a horizontal (industry) specialisation. The vertical course includes marketing, finance and HR, while the horizontal is a pick from among retail, telecom, banking & finance, international business and manufacturing.

The course costs Rs.3.25 lakh a year and the institute will go operational from this academic year.

CBSE complimented

Speakers welcomed the setting up of CSBE here as ‘mutually beneficial’, as it is in the sprawling Sri City compound, home to more than 100 companies from 24 countries.

Dr. Viswanathan spoke on the need to impart world-class education and training to India’s growing young population and hoped that the institute would create future business champions.

Mr. Seshasayee expected the CSBE management to make education inclusive.

Sri City Managing Director Ravi Sannareddy indicated that the integrated business city would benefit a lot with the arrival of the institution, while CSBE managing trustee Pradipta K. Mohapatra said the institute believed in learning for the ‘real world’.
