SANGAREDDY: Prominent Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev called upon the government to bring back the black money parked in foreign banks by politicians stating that this would be useful in taking up developmental activities in the country. Addressing large number of devotees on the final day of Mahakumbh Mela for Manjeera held at Raghavapoor village in Nyalakal mandal on Friday, Baba Ramdev said that many of the politicians were involved in corruption.
“ Bringing back the black money will not only be instrumental in development but will pave the way for building a corruption-less society,'' he said.
He said that practicing yoga would cure several health problems including kidney malfunction. Baba Ramdev arrived here in a helicopter at around 12 noon and returned in the evening.
Despite the hot weather more than 50,000 devotees including those from Karanataka and Maharashtra participated on the final day of Kumbhmela and took a holy dip in river Manjeera. Officials made arrangements for drinking water supply. Tight security was arranged at the place to see that no untoward incident takes place.
