Claymore mines unearthedKURNOOL: The bomb disposal squad unearthed claymore mines in the Nallamala forest in Kurnool district on Saturday. One kg of gelatine sticks was recovered.

BCs warn State on engineering feeHyderabad: Andhra Pradesh State Backward Classes' Welfare Association has warned the Government that it will stall the counselling for engineering seats if the Government decides to hike the course fee.
In a statement here on Sunday, R. Krishnaiah, president of the association, said professional courses were becoming out of bounds for the poor and the middle classes.
