Boy charged with stealing from hundi

Curbing child labour
VIZIANAGARAM: The district administration has appointed teams to strictly enforce Child Labour (Prohibition & Regulation) Act, 1986. Teams headed by MEOs at mandal level and DEO at the district-level were constituted to check domestic child labour, said the assistant project coordinator of Sarva Siksha Abhiyan A. Prabhakara Rao and others at a press conference on Monday.
ELURU: The meeting of city-based non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and civil society organisations held on Monday condemned the attack reportedly made on the leaders of Rate Payers Welfare Association by a section of encroachers in Shanti Nagar area recently. AU SDE instant exam on November 11
VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra University School of Distance Education (AU SDE) is conducting an instant examination for post-graduate courses here on November 11, according to its Director D. Harinarayana.
Applications for the instant examination are available at the office of the SDE and the AU SDE Study Centres.
The fee for exam is Rs. 2,000 and has to be paid through a demand draft drawn in favour of "Registrar, Andhra University" on any nationalised bank and payable at Visakhapatnam.
The application has to reach the office of Director of AU SDE here on or before October 28.
