Boy dies as egg gets stuck in gullet

ADILABAD: R. Shravan Kumar, a class VII student of Mallampet school in Kotapalli mandal on Tuesday, died after an egg got stuck in his gullet. According to information, Shravan had eaten the egg as part of the mid-day meal at school. The parents of the deceased have demanded compensation. - Staff Reporter

ADILABAD: Adilabad First Additional Sessions Judge D. Minni Dhanalaxmi on Tuesday sentenced N. Srinivas Goud of Dharmaram village of Jannaram mandal to death for murdering his wife Sarala. The latter was burnt alive by the accused on January 7, 2004 for failing to bring dowry. - Staff Reporter

Lovers' bodies found

Sangareddy: Bodies of lovers - Neerudi Manjula (16) and Chepuri Srinivas (22) - were found in a well at Brahmanapalli village of Toopran mandal on Tuesday. Tribals kill man

KHAMMAM: A group of tribals killed one Veeraiah, 55, a man from their own community suspecting him of sorcery at Chagarapalli village of Velerpadu mandal on Tuesday. Woman, daughter charred to death
