GUNTUR: A bridegroom was among six persons killed in road accidents in the State.
Three persons commuting in an autorickshaw were killed when a lorry hit them on the Piduguralla bridge.
The victims two construction workers and autorickshaw driver were returning from Anupalam after unloading the centering material when the accident occurred. At Perechelra, two-year-old V. Sivanageswara Rao was killed and six others were injured when two autorickshaws coming in opposite directions collided with each other.
Kakinada Correspondent writes: Bridegroom Katta Seetharamaiah (20) and his father Nageswara Rao (55) were killed on the spot and 13 others of a marriage party suffered injuries when the van in which they were travelling from Madanapalli in Krishna district to Annavaram lost control and dashed against a lorry near Kattipudi on the NH in the early hours of Monday.
