As many as 41,298 candidates have registered for the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) Eligibility Test to be held on Sunday, April 7.
The test will be held from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at 215 examination centres across the State.
Among the registered candidates 44 visually challenged, 48 hearing impaired and 407 physically challenged are writing the test. Large number of SC and ST (14,704) and BC (19,406) candidates have registered.
Jail inmates to appear
An interesting feature of this year’s test is that jail inmates, 277 of them, from the many Central Prisons in the State will also be appearing. Candidates can either collect their hall tickets in person from their respective study centres or can download them from the University website ‘www.braou.ac.in’.
