HYDERABAD: Two hoax calls made by an unidentified woman on Friday on bombs being planted at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad triggered panic among passengers and security personnel.

The woman speaking in chaste Punjabi made the first call from mobile phone at around 11.15 a.m. to the airport call centre.

After a thorough search of the airport premises for over two hours, the police confirmed that the calls were hoax.
