Swami Asimanand, who was arrested by the CBI in connection with the 2007 Mecca Masjid bomb blast case, was remanded to judicial custody till Nov. 30 by a local court on Saturday. He was produced amidst tight security in the court of 14th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate. The court also allowed another petition for providing a separate cell to the accused in the prison in view of the threat perception to Swami Asimanand, said CBI assistant special prosecutor Vikram.
