Krishna district Collector Peeyush Kumar inaugurated the new premises of microsate branch of the Indian Bank at Ashok Nagar near Kanuru on Thursday.
Indian Bank Zonal Manager G.G. Raghu said that the branch moved to the new premises to render better service to customers and for their convenience. Over 3,000 self-help groups that took loan to the tune of Rs.45 crores would be utilising the services of this microsate branch, he said. Mr. Peeyush Kumar and Municipal Commissioner G. Ravi Babu lauded the Indian Bank officials for their services to the SHGs and customers.
