Enthused by ace shuttler Saina Nehwal’s bronze medal winning feat in London Olympics, the Badminton Association of India (BAI) is preparing the promising Hyderabad girl P. V. Sindhu, who won Asian youth Badminton title recently, for the coveted gold in the 2020 Olympics.

''Go for gold in 2020 is our mission. The Hyderabad girl has the wherewithal to emerge as the formidable player at the international level. We will give all the support in helping her achieving the goal,” said BAI Secretary (events) K. Ch. Punnaiah Chowdary told reporters at Ongole.

He expressed confidence that India would win around 15 to 20 medals in various events in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics to be held in 2016. Saina Nehwal would be presented a BMW car and Sindhu, a Maruti Swift, by legendary cricketer and Rajya Sabha member Sachin Tendulkar at a gala function in Hyderabad on August 19, he added.
