AIMIM president and MP Asaduddin Owaisi will visit Sircilla textile town on May 25 to address a massive public meeting called “Jalse haalathe haajra” to strengthen the party and gear up for the upcoming local bodies’ and general elections.

Disclosing this to newsmen here on Wednesday after releasing the poster of the public meeting, AIMIM district president Syed Wahaj Uddin, general secretary Syed Ghulam Ahmed Hussain, town president Md Abbas Sami, general secretary Barkat Ali, joint secretary Syed Moiz uddin Quadri said that the public meeting would be held in the sprawling Government Junior College grounds on May 25 from 7 p.m. They said that they had decided to strengthen the party for the ensuing local bodies’ and general elections and conduct similar public meetings in other towns such as Jagtial, Korutla, Metpally, Ramagundam and Peddapalli very soon.

They said that all the MIM legislators, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Mayor, MLCs, corporators and others would attend the meeting in Sircilla textile town. Alleging that all the political parties were utilising the Muslims only for the elections by playing vote-bank politics, they said that the MIM had decided to emerge as a strong force in the State and strive for the welfare and upliftment of Muslims. They alleged that the government had failed to strive for the welfare of Muslims. They said that the construction of Shadikhanas and naming of Moulana Abdul Kalam sujala sravanthi drinking water scheme to Hyderabad would not solve the problems of Muslims.
