HYDERABAD: Elated over the response to ongoing ‘Odaarpu' programme by Congress MP Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy in West Godavari district, loyalists of former Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy now want the former to tour other parts of the State.

Though, the visit was primarily to meet the families of persons, who died or committed suicide in the aftermath of YSR's untimely death, it had generated lot of enthusiasm among the Congress cadres particularly YSR loyalists.

As of now, the Kadapa MP will conclude his six-day tour in Khammam district on April 14 and proceed to Delhi to attend Parliament. But, he is expected to visit Kadapa district on April 17 and 18 to attend official programmes and also meet some bereaved families.

On Sunday also Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy's tour began at 9 a.m. from Tanuku and reached Tadepalligudem in the night, 20 hours behind schedule. He called on the bereaved families in Verigedu, Pekeru, Alampuram and Pentapadu before arriving in Tadepalligudem.

“By not making any political statement, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy has ensured that he wanted to share the grief of all those, who died after his father's untimely demise,” a Congress MLA from West Godavari remarked.

A Minister from Coastal Andhra admitted that several of them were worried about impending Cabinet reshuffle. “The response to the Congress MP's tour will certainly have to be taken into account now if the Chief Minister wants to drop any one of us,” he remarked.
