HYDERABAD: Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Dadi Veerabhadra Rao said here on Thursday it was time Chief Minister K. Rosaiah showed his own style in guiding the administration and strengthening the State’s exchequer rather than merely continuing his predecessor’s policies.

Participating in the discussion on the 2010-11 budget, Mr. Rao said it was nothing but a jugglery of statistics.

The government, in a bid to hoodwink people, proposed yet another massive outlay of Rs.1.13 lakh crore though it failed to make promised allocations to various sectors last year. The allocation for plan expenditure for 2010-11 was only Rs.36,727 crore.

Mr. Veerabhadra Rao welcomed the Chief Minister’s announcement in granting Rs.1 crore each to the legislators and the MLCs towards constituency development fund.
