‘TTD management dragging its feet even on issues for which it got nod’

CPI (M) leader to raise a query on the floor of the House on the matter

TIRUPATI: It was the turn of the CPI (M)’s Legislative Council Member (MLC), Cherupalli Seetha Ramulu to join issue with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Saturday, for its continued ‘indifferent attitude’ towards the long-pending issues of the displaced Tirumala residents, scores of contract workers, forest workers, piece rate workers and so on.

In a statement to the mediapersons the MLC lashed at the TTD management for dragging its feet for years even on issues for which the TTD Trust Board had given its nod more than a decade ago.

It was in this context that he pledged to raise a query on the floor of the house on the ‘unhelpful attitude’ of the TTD management towards meeting even the genuine demands of the public and its contract employees in violation of the rules.

Seetharamulu regretted that being a spiritual organization, the TTD management should turn so unsympathetic towards the just demands of the affected residents and temporary staff members.
