Entries invited for science quiz

The decade-old Dr. K.V. Rao Scientific Society, established to nurture scientific talent among children and youth, has invited entries for Science Quiz 2012-13 from students of class VIII to XI in the State. It will be held at Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati. There would be no entry fee for participation in the contest and teams of two students each could send in their entries. However, only two teams would be allowed from every school. The competition would be held at Visakhapatnam on September 1, at Vijayawada on September 8, at Tirupati on October 6 and at Hyderabad on October 13. Students from registered schools could apply for participation. Top two teams from each centre would participate in the final quiz to be held at Hyderabad on October 20.
