Municipal Commissioner K. Sudhakar has expressed ire at the officials for their alleged negligence in poor upkeep of roads and drains at various places in the city during his visit on Monday. He was particularly critical of the sordid state of Brodipet 1st line which is stinking with piles of garbage. The road is full of potholes requiring urgent repairs. The poor sanitary conditions on Cobaltpet main road and in Krishna Nagar were pointed out by him, who wanted immediate steps to be taken to improve things. He later visited Venkataramana Colony where the internal roads and drains are in a bad shape. He then visited the vehicle shed where repaired dumper bins were kept for use. He ordered that the dumper bins be sent to the localities where they are urgently needed.
